Legislative Update…By Lori Dittman WV House of Delegates 63rd District

This past week has been full of get togethers with friends and family, wrapping things up at school for the semester, getting ready for the upcoming session, and, of course, Christmas.
I would like to depart from the usual news from the Capitol and the legislature to express my heartfelt gratitude to have this space to communicate with you each week. Thank you to all who have reached out with words of encouragement. I am honored to serve you in the legislature and look forward to the upcoming session.
It is late on Christmas Eve and my heart is full to once again be able to spend the day with my church family and the Dittmans. Tomorrow, I will enjoy seeing my side of the family. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve service tonight along with game night afterwards, and now all is quiet.
Please keep those that are missing loved ones, lonely, or struggling with hardship in your thoughts and prayers. The holidays are especially hard for them.
I wish you a season of joy and a new year of happiness. May the magic of Christmas fill your heart and home with peace, love, and laughter and be with you all year round.
January interim meetings will be from January 7th – 9th with the first day of the session beginning on January 10th and concluding on March 9th. I look forward to hearing from people in the district and hope to see you out and about enjoying all the great things our area has to offer. I can be contacted at [email protected] or 304-701-8600.

“I hear the angels singing hallelujah
Let the earth receive her king
I know that love has come
Sing it out Jesus Christ is born.”
