Police seize marijuana worth over $120,000

On Wednesday, September 27, Sgt. A. J. Shingler of the WV State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations, assisted by Cpl. Jordan, Cpl. Huff of the Sutton Detachment and Captain Scarbro, Deputy Westfall of the Braxton County Sheriff’s Office, seized approximately $120,000 in marijuana plants and another one half-pound in bagged product.

The discovery was the culmination of a four-day investigation that began with an online tip. That lead resulted in the surveillance of a residence on Coffman’s Circle in the Little Birch area of Braxton County. The residence, that was targeted of the investigation, was occupied by a Donald Bosely. When the officers searched the home last week the illegal substance was discovered.

According to Sgt. Shingler, arrests in this matter are currently pending. Sgt. Shingler encourages anyone with drug information to utilize the WVSP drug tip line.
