The West Virginia Deer Association will host their First Annual Sportsman’s Banquet at the Flatwoods Conference center on August 5th. Officials have announced that Dr. Grant Woods of Growing Deer TV will be the keynote speaker. In addition to being a TV host, Dr. Woods is a wildlife biologist, owner of Woods & Associates, Inc., an avid hunter and habitat manager.
The banquet will be the capstone event following the 2nd Annual WV Whitetail Summit held earlier that same day. The event is open to sportsmen. Organizers say it’s a perfect kickoff to the 2023 season.
Banquet doors open at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $50 for singles and $75 per couple. Youth 15 and under are $25 which includes dinner, youth gift bag and youth only raffle.
WVDA sponsorships are available for $300. Table sponsors $800 – Includes 8 dinner tickets, Raffle Package ($300 in tickets), 1 sponsor membership (recognition on website, social media and event).
Early Bird Raffle Package are available if purchased by August 2nd.
