Gassaway Lions to Reinstate BINGO

The Gassaway Lions Club is resuming their annual BINGO fundraiser beginning April 15. Originally scheduled for April 3, 2020 the event was canceled when the WV State Tax Dept pulled all bingo licenses in West Virginia due to the COVID epidemic.
“We have been ready to go for the last three years,” says Lions President Randy Foster. The annual event is the largest source of income for the Gassaway Lions. Past funds generated have benefited local organizations such as scouting, 4H, high school band, eye glass purchases, and graduating senior scholarships.
The International Association of Lions Clubs mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding. Anyone interested in joining a Lions Club can call Randall Foster, 304-364-5989. Watch for ad in early April with BINGO details.
