Women of Bluegrass Concert Features Local Performer

Ridgeline Promotions is presenting a concert featuring the Women of West Virginia Bluegrass at the Summersville Arena and Convention Center, in Summersville on April 5, at 7pm. The event will feature some of the top female bluegrass musicians in the Mountain State including a Copen woman.
The Women of WV Bluegrass is a concert series featuring a unique collection of accomplished female bluegrass musicians from around the state. The Women of WV Bluegrass showcases some of the talented female bluegrass musicians and vocalists who have grown up in West Virginia and who have gained many years of experience in a variety of settings. Members of the Women of WV Bluegrass include Bailey Stephenson from Wheeling on banjo, Rebecca Traugh from Waverly on fiddle, Tracey Greenleaf Miller from Spencer on guitar, Carol Edwards from Copen on bass and Rachel Singleton Burge from Ivydale on mandolin.
Built in 2005, the Summersville Arena and Convention Center is located just off of US RT 19 which makes it convenient to travelers as it links Interstates 79 and 64 The arena is a 24,000 sq ft facility that can house many different events.
Ridgeline Promotions, founded by Buck Edwards, is an events promotion company located in Buckhannon whose mission is to promote West Virginia artists. In addition to developing the Women of WV Bluegrass it has also successfully developed and promoted the Legends of WV Bluegrass featuring the late Buddy Griffin 2023 inductee WV Music Hall of Fame, Jackie Kincaid and Roger Hoard and The Masters of the Six String showcasing Robert Shafer, Robin Kessinger, Seth Maynard and Roger Hoard.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on Eventbrite, the Summersville Arena and Convention Center, The Oakford Pool Hall in Richwood and by contacting us at Women of WV Bluegrass on Facebook. Concessions will be available at the arena during the event.
