Braxton Senator Robbie Morris will be a featured guest on an upcoming edition of Barbour County Republican Party’s weekly Live Legislative Updates during the 2025 West Virginia Legislative Session. Moderated by Chair Lisa Weese, these sessions occur on Zoom every Sunday evening at 8:00 PM while the WV Legislature is in Session. Each week, a local representative will provide insights on bills under consideration and those that have been passed by the Legislature, followed by a question and answer segment.
The next Live Legislative Update will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 8:00 PM. Our Guest Speaker will be Senator Robbie Morris, representing Senate District 11, which includes Braxton and several adjoining counties. Senator Morris is Vice-Chair of the Banking & Insurance and Economic Development Committees in the WV Senate. He also serves on the Education, Finance, Natural Resources, and Transportation Committees.
The inaugural Live Legislative Update was held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM, and featured Delegate Chris Phillips, who represents Barbour County and part of Upshur County in the WV House of Delegates.
