Still Time to Donate to City National’s Toy Drive

City National Bank invites area residents to join their Annual Toy Drive as they are accepting donations of toys through Friday, December 6.
This is the fourth year for the toy drive which includes children ages 3-18 years. Drive organizer Lisa Conant stated, “I think it is important to support all of our children in the community, not just those under 14 years old. I don’t want a 15- or 16-year-old to go without on Christmas when younger siblings are receiving gifts.”
Approximately $13,000 in toys and other items has been raised this year bringing the four-year total to close to $36,000.
Donations of new unwrapped toys can be dropped off at City Bank locations in Sutton, Gassaway, and Flatwoods.
The Annual Toy Drive is in partnership with Communities in Schools and Braxton Community Coalition. All donated items will be taken to the Braxton County Board of Education office for the CIS Coordinators to distribute to those in need in various schools throughout the area.
