Braxton EMS to Host Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Braxton County Emergency Services is excited to announce that they will be hosting their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on December 7, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, at the Braxton County Emergency Services building on Days Drive just off Exit 67 of I-79.
Different craft stations will be set up for children to create an ornament for the tree and one for them to take home.
Special guests will be on hand from the North Pole: Mr. & Mrs. Claus. The kids will be allowed to have a photo opportunity with the distinguished pair and the newly decorated Christmas tree.
There will be treats to eat, plenty of warm coffee, and hot chocolate to drink for all who attend. There will also be carolers singing beautiful Christmas carols.
“This event is free to the public, thanks to local businesses and churches for their generosity in making this event a success,” says an organizer.
Braton EMS will be collecting hats, gloves, scarves, and coats that will be donated to the “Shop with a First Responder” program. Also, if the kids make a donation of an item for our animal shelter will receive a certificate for a free frosty from the local Wendy’s Restaurant.
“We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to seeing you at the event. Everyone is welcome.”
Any individual or organization interested in participating in the event should call Cherie at 304-765-3520 or Tyler at 304-765-7736 by December 2.
