Additional important matters will also be addressed during this session.
Just a reminder that if your well or spring has been affected by the drought, contact the Braxton County Office of Emergency Services at 304-765-3320. You will need to provide our name, address, status of well or spring and is it usable.
The recent dip in temperatures and a few refreshing showers have signaled the arrival of fall, bringing much-needed relief. During a discussion about West Virginia’s climate at school this week, an unofficial poll revealed that fall is the overwhelming favorite season. With the fall sports season now in full swing, I look forward to seeing packed stands, cheering on our teams, and supporting our bands.
I recently listened to a podcast that highlighted fall as the perfect time for a fresh start. Just as the season changes, so can we. With an upcoming election, change is on the horizon. But what aspects of our own lives or community could benefit from a transformation?
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” (Lauren DeStefano)
