A long-time problem has finally been righted at Sutton Elementary School. A residential house across from the school fell into a state of needing repair. The condition presented a health and safety issue to area residents and students. The problem has been fixed with the Board of Education, under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Donna Burge-Tetrick and will now become a much-needed parking lot. Demolition is underway this week and improvements should begin in the near future.
