45th BC Invitational Wrestling Tournament set for Friday and Saturday at Braxton Armory

Wrestling fans from the area will be able to enjoy several hours of wrestling here in Braxton County this weekend. What was once known as the “Big 16 Invitational Wrestling Tournament” will include 23 teams from throughout West Virginia this year. Sponsored by Go-Mart Inc., the tournament is set to begin at 4 p.m. Friday, January 12 and will continue at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 13. Coach Sterling Beane announced that the following teams will wrestle in this year’s tournament: Braxton County,  Calhoun County, Berkeley Springs, Point Pleasant, Lincoln of Harrison, Nicholas County, Herbert Hoover, Greenbrier West, Webster County, Hurricane, Grafton, Ravenswood, Sissonville, Shady Spring, Philip Barbour, Wirt County, Moorefield, South Charleston, Petersburg, Elkins, Keyser, East Hardy and Richwood.
