Braxton residents named to Shepherd and Wesleyan Deans Lists

Madison Nettles of Frametown was named to West Virginia Wesleyan College Dean’s List for Fall 2022 semester.
Nettles is a senior nursing student who will graduate in May with honors. She will complete work on a BSRN Degree.
West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) is a private, four-year residential liberal arts college in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Their nursing curriculum is considered one of the premier programs in the country.
Of the 900 students named to the Dean’s List at Shepherd University for the fall 2022 semester, one is from Braxton County, Hailey Brooke Given of Duck.
Located in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle, Shepherd is a public university with a personal touch; where interdisciplinary and experiential learning, committed faculty, and a supportive and accepting community come together to prepare students for successful futures.
Students of both institutions, named to the Dean’s list, have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the Fall 2022 semester with no incomplete grades while carrying at least 12 hours of coursework.
