On January 13, Sutton Moose Lodge #825 welcomed Chairman Bruce T. Masopust of the Moose International Board of Directors. Masopust serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Moose International, Inc.
This visit was an opportunity for those in the community to thank him and Moose International for their support to the local community and organizations. Sutton Moose Lodge #825 made donations to these organization and many others in 2022 for a total amount of $85,522.21. Some of the organizations represented were Braxton County High School Athletics and CTE programs, Sutton Public Library, Burnsville Public Library, Braxton County Coalition, Encore, Braxton Healthcare Center, American Legion Post #33, and the Braxton County Firefighter’s Association.
Masopust was elected to Board of Directors in July 2022 during the 134th International Moose Convention in Orlando, FL after having served as Vice Chairman (2021-2022), Supreme Prelate (2020-2021) and on the Supreme Council since 2016. Prior to this post Chairman Masopust served on the Mooseheart Board of Directors for eight years (2009-2016) and the International Government Relations Committee as its Chairman (2008).
