Friday and Saturday, teams will be coming from all areas of the state to wrestle in Braxton’s annual tournament (once referred to as “the Big 16”). Wrestling fans will be treated to good wrestling and exciting matches just as in past years.
Teams registered for this year’s tournament as of Monday include Berkeley Springs, Braxton, Calhoun, Grafton, Greenbrier West, Herbert Hoover, Midland Trail, Nicholas, Petersburg, Ravenswood, Richwood, Philip Barbour, Shady Springs, Webster, and Wheeling Central Catholic.
The tournament, which is sponsored by GoMart, Inc., will be held in the BCHS gym, and Friday’s wrestling will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday the matches will begin at 10 a.m.
