BCHS will host girls’ Holiday Tournament

Braxton will host a four-team girls’ basketball tournament Wednesday and Thursday in the Armory. On Wednesday, Pocahontas and Greenbrier West will play at 2 p.m. At 4 p.m. Braxton will play Independence.  On Thursday, the consolation game will begin at 2 p.m. and the championship game at 4 p.m.

Varsity girls’ coach Bill Lunceford and all  of Braxton sports urge basketball fans “to come out and support these young ladies and see some great basketball games.” In addition to the games, raffle tickets for two $200 Go-Mart gas cards and for a Milwaukee drill donated by Rexroad’s and 50/50 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held later in the season, and winners do not have to be present.
