Celebrated Red Ribbon Week

Little Birch Elementary School recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week during. Red Ribbon Week is designed to encourage students to live a drug free life.Twenty-two students participated in the annual anti-drug poster contest. “Each of the students did an amazing job,” commented organizers.Judges Jasmine Morton, Braxton County Prosecuting Attorney and Dr. Kenna Seal, Braxton County Board of Education Member had a hard time picking the winners. However the choices were made… Congratulations to the winners: 1st place – Carter Rhodes 1st grade, 2nd place – Allison Marks 4th grade and 3rd place – Brenna Hoard 5th grade.
