Little Birch Elementary School recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week during. Red Ribbon Week is designed to encourage students to live a drug free life.
Twenty-two students participated in the annual anti-drug poster contest. “Each of the students did an amazing job,” commented organizers.
Judges Jasmine Morton, Braxton County Prosecuting Attorney and Dr. Kenna Seal, Braxton County Board of Education Member had a hard time picking the winners. However the choices were made… Congratulations to the winners: 1st place – Carter Rhodes 1st grade, 2nd place – Allison Marks 4th grade and 3rd place – Brenna Hoard 5th grade.
