On October 14th, 15th, and 16th, the Bulltown Historical Association in partnership with the Burnsville Lake Army Corps of Engineers held their annual Battle of Bulltown reenactment. The event began on Friday with kids’ day. Over 200 youngsters and adults participating. There were various demonstrations going on and tours of the Cunningham House, church, and battlefield.
Saturday was tactical day, the Confederates Memorial service, and a Civil War Ball. There were over 248 people in attendance throughout the day and evening on Saturday.
Sunday began with church service. About 25 people attended. The battle reenactment was in the afternoon with approximately 367 people in attendance.
A fun, educational, and enjoyable weekend was had.
