2022 Gassaway Days Set for June 23, 24 & 25

The Town of Gassaway has released the schedule for the 2022 Gassaway Days.
Thursday, June 23, is Family Night -The first 100 Kids, ages 12 years and younger, arriving in-person and in-line, will receive a free hand stamp for carnival rides. A host of other activities are planned for the three-day event, they begin with the Flag Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. featuring Jamie Belknap – National Anthem and the Gassaway Baptist Church Choir.
At 6:30 p.m. The Pulse will be center stage followed by the Max Samples Band at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, June 24, the entertainment will begin with Jamie Belknap taking the stage at 6:00 p.m. She will be followed at 7:00 p.m. by ROX Band. The evening will conclude with a performance by Nina Sharp beginning at 9:30 p.m.
A full day of fun and entertainment is planned for Saturday, June 25. The 5k Run/Walk will get underway at 8:00 a.m. At the same time a Pancake Breakfast, prepared by the Shiloh Outreach Center will begin at the Community Building.
The car show will start at 9:00 a.m. on River Street.
Lineup for the parade will be at Go-Mart Corporate Offices at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Parade down Elk Street at 2:00 p.m.
The evening’s entrainment will begin at 6:15 p.m. with Ben McDivitt on stage. Stone Creek Band will be in concert at 7:00 followed by the Ryan Cain Band at 9:00 p.m. At 9:45 p.m. there will be a special presentation of a Memorial Plaque for U.S. Army Captain Billy Jake Smith Memorial Bridge.
The Fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m. with the Ryan Cain Band wrapping up the event with another performance at 10:30 p.m.
