Local residents receive Academic Honors at WV Wesleyan College

West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon has recognized their honor students for the Spring semester which ended December 2021. The private institution offers undergraduates degrees in 33 fields of study complemented by five graduate programs. The school has a total enrollment of around 1,400 students from 35 US states and 26 foreign countries.
To obtains the Presidents List students must earn a 4.0 for the semester while completing at least 12 semester hours with no incomplete grades. Those who average 3.5 GPA or above for the semester while carrying at least 12 hours are named to the prestigious Dean’s List.
Several local students have obtained Wesleyan’s highest academic honors. They include Presidents List – Kelly Houghton of Sutton, Maria Hughart Birch River and Anna Swearingen of Frametown.
Those earning a spot on the prestigious Dean’s List are Kylie Carter of Duck, Madison Groves of Frametown, Kirsten Hamrick Sutton, Zane Hissam French Creek and Emily Keesucker of Sutton.
