Braxton student to receive GSC scholarship

Glenville State College student and Braxton County resident Chloe Richardson has received the Lyndsee Gay Natural Resource Management Scholarship through the College’s Department of Land Resources.
Richardson, from Strange Creek, is a freshman studying Wildlife Management.
“Thank you so much to the scholarship donors for choosing me for this scholarship,” she said. “This will help me continue my education and help me pursue my career conserving wildlife in West Virginia.”
The Lyndsee Gay Natural Resource Management Scholarship was established in 2021 to honor Lyndsee Gay, a Glenville State graduate who tragically passed away in 2018. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student in the Natural Resource Management program at GSC. The student should have a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the time of application. Recipients will be selected by the faculty and staff in the Department of Land Resources.
